Multi Purpose Museum
Multi purpose museum is situated right in front of the entrance. The major attraction of the museum is the mounted skeleton of an elephant named "Chengalloor Ranganathan". Museum contains stuffed specimens and mounted skeletons of various animals. It includes rare pieces of agricultural and geological specimens. Ancient weapons and Menavu are exhibited. Certain bird specimens donated by the world famous Ornithologist Dr. Salim Ali, is a precious collection.
Life size models of Kathakali characters and our traditional musical instruments displayed in the museum represents the classical art form of our land. The display provides exhaustive information, facts and figures about tiny creatures to that of the largest Blue whale.
